Our company produces ceramic tiles in various sizes for floor and wall coverings. Recently, an architect who was dealing with the renovation of a villa in Switzerland in which the owners had chosen to keep the original tiles of a covered patio, because they were particularly valuable and hand-decorated, turned to us for tiles to replace the broken ones, in order to restore the original flooring.
After an initial firing in the kiln and glazing of the tiles, our painters faithfully reproduced the floor decoration on the tiles, painting the missing tiles by hand. The tiles were fired at high temperature a second time to make them waterproof and suitable for laying the floor, to the customer’s great satisfaction.
