Since 1970, the year in which Francesco Morlin founded Ceramiche Artistiche Edelweiss, the Morlin family has been combining the artisan art of ceramics with the creation of modern objects respecting the traditions of the past and the needs of the customer, always with a touch of originality inspired by nature. Our products are uniquely handmade and hand-painted, and are born from the desire to offer high quality handcrafted ceramic production by seeking increasingly refined and modern lines, capable of personalising the most diverse environments and meeting all tastes, from the most traditional to the most modern.

The “family” expands with the introduction of the more modern Decalcomania technique, commonly known as Decalco. This method of transferring images onto media such as ceramics and porcelain allows subjects, primarily hand-painted by an artist, to be reproduced endlessly on various objects. The application is always done by hand and this again gives craftsmanship and value to the final product.

Increasing demand leads us to the production of professional cutlery with decorated polycarbonate handles. Quality utensils that can go in the dishwasher are essential nowadays, especially for restaurants, bars and hotels. Durable and beautiful cutlery, ‘dressed’ in the unmistakable Edelweiss style.

One feels the need to offer one’s customers something more. The possibility of “dressing” one’s table in a more complete manner. The collaboration with another Italian company producing customised placemats was born. Here Edelweiss’s painted decors are transferred to the classic and much-appreciated “American-style placemats”.

Edelweiss has revamped its website, offering a contemporary, simple and emotional graphic design. In addition to the structuring of the new online catalogue, the possibility for customers to create a customised whishlist of interested products has been added.
